Looking for degrees, jobs, and internships is stressful—scary even—especially when we’re unsure whether a potential employer or education program will fully support and welcome all identities. There are so many questions: Will it be safe to be out? What if I don’t go by my legal name? Will I be the only LGBTQ person in the office? The LGBTQ Career Expo is a safe space for high school and college students to meet with local employers and colleges/universities who have shown a commitment to creating supportive environments for LGBTQ people.
