Iowa Safe Schools was founded in 2002 with the mission of creating safer and more inclusive learning environment for LGBTQ youth. We work with students, educators, administrators, legislators, parents, and community members to reach all areas of of LGBTQ students’ lives.

Iowa Safe Schools want to be a supportive resource to anyone who has questions on how to best support LGBTQ youth and our mission of empowering students to create positive change.
